A turn of the century, Circa 1900, chest of drawers in solid walnut. The piece is made in the Louis XVI style featuring solid brass ormolu of the same period style atop the fluted side columns and feet as well as framing all five drawers, their  ring pulls and key plates, featuring the classical laurel and bow.

The top of the commode is made with a Carrara marble, beveled and further shaped to the columns.

The Carrara marble contrasts nicely to the patina of the walnut which is rich with a warmth to the hue.
